High School Art Expo 2011
Art for Action, Art for Change, Art for Aids

Our club is currently planning a London wide high school art show to showcase the work of local high school students, and to support the fight against AIDS in Africa. All of the funds raised will go toward Art for AIDS International. Art for AIDS is a London based non-profit organization recognized for their efforts against the AIDS epidemic in Africa.

Where?
The Art Expo will be held at the Downtown Holistic Yoga Center.
236 Dundas Street, London, ON

When?
Art must be submitted by Monday May 9th to London Central Secondary School
Opening night will be Saturday May 14th, 2011.
                               7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The art will be on public display for until May 21st.

What?
Opening night will be a gala-style exposition, with food, music and public speakers to address our cause, including a representative from Art for AIDS. Tickets will be sold at the door. Some advance tickets may be available through participating schools. Donated art pieces may be auctioned to raise funds for Art for AIDS.

How can you support us?
If you are a high school art student: please talk to your art teacher, or email us directly to register your artwork. Let us know if you are interested in donating your art piece to be sold/auctioned. Registration is available online!

If you are an interested high school art teacher, please email us directly to register your school, or if you have any specific  questions.

If you are interested in supporting our charity event, Art for AIDS, and the student artists involved, please come out to join us on opening night. Donations are much appreciated!
