Campaign for Clothes
Our goal for this winter is to focus on poverty in our
community, specifically on access to clothing. A canvassing campaign to
collect winter clothing for those in need is beginning this February,
where we hope to raise not only clothes to support our community, but to
raise awareness about the conditions facing many Londoners. We aim to
distribute information (in the form of flyers and posters) to different
communities early February, and collect these clothes
through door-to-door pick up in following weeks. In addition to
donations from our canvassing campaign, we are also looking to
businesses in the area to become involved in this event and allow us to
collectively make a bigger impact against poverty.

- Total 64 bags of clothing!
The clothing gathered has been distributed among the Limberlost Chaplaincy, London's Women's Shelter, and Mission Services.
We have gathered around 64 bags of clothing, which totals 1280 pieces of clothing. Congratulations everyone, but we're not finished yet! We still need to sort the clothing and deliver them to the donation centers where they are needed.
Thanks again to our members who gave their time and effort to help our cause. Thanks to the collectors who braved the raging gales and bitter cold, thank you to the drivers (parents included) for mobilizing us and for storing the clothes. But most of all, thank you to the compassionate Londoners who gave their support.
Slow and steady wins the race.
