ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge
Interact is keeping busy by accepting the ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge! We had Nicole from Pillar Nonprofit Network come in personally to tell us about this exciting challenge! ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is a three-week campaign with one goal: get high school teens to volunteer in their community.
This year the goal is to again surpass the goal of 900 youth volunteering 3200 hours over the 3 weeks of April 10 - May 1.
Interact is committed to give back to our community and we have set our own goal:as a club, accumulate 120 community hours for the Challenge hoping to surpass our last year's total of 100 hours!
You can do it too! All you have to do is get out there, and volunteer for your community. Then send the Challenge your name, the number of hours you volunteered and what you did via email. Feel free to contact us for volunteer oppourtunities and how you can get involved!
Last year over 700 youth in London and Area contributed to over 3000 volunteer hours. Let's surpass these numbers!
