Our Cause: WaterCan
WaterCan
At Interact we believe in building better communities. This includes clean water and proper sanitation for all. That's why we are holding this amazing charity event, and all funds will be going to WaterCan, a leading Canadian water charity dedicated to fighting global poverty. The organization helps the world's poorest people gain access to clean water, basic sanitation and hygiene education. We are encouraging you to lend your support.
This year the money raised from Water for Water will go toward the Clean Water for Schools Project.
WaterCan has officially launched Phase III of its successful Clean Water for Schools program. By 2012 over 37,000 students and teachers will be living better, healthier lives through access to new school facilities such as rain water harvesting tanks, sanitary latrine blocks and health promotion materials.
